The Committee of the Artigarvan Community Centre welcome you to the web site.
The centre opened in September 2014, with the aim of the association to ensure that the experience of using the facilities in the centre is one that will be appreciated and remembered.

The Development Association was formed in September 2010 with the primary role of resurrecting the old hall to a usable and improved space which would be available to all of the community. The Development Association is made up from a wide spectrum of the local community, with representatives from all section of the community including sporting groups and senior citizens and other interested parties.

The Development Association has ensured that all sections of the community have had a voice in the proposed development plans currently under consideration. The Associations welcomes any suggestions that individuals within the community feel would enhance this venue. All comments can be addressed to info@artigarvanhall.co.uk

Artigarvan Community Hall
In 2013 the Leckpatrick Development Association was awarded £876,000 from ARC northwest under the Capital build programme (DARD) in support of the rebuild and regeneration of the old hall. The community was also resposible the raising of a further £45.000 this has been achieved hrough a number of fund raising events within the community .

In addition a further £88,000 was raised through the donation of ground and works carried out in the project by members of the community.
In total the total capital allocated to the project was in excess of £1,000,000.

Association's mission mission is:
"..to work as an inclusive group to develop the resources, facilities and opportunities for all members of the our community to enjoy.

The hall will now open in September and offers the following facilities:

Large sports Hall
Fully fitted kitchen
Training room
Gym - Due to open in October if funding application is successful
First Aid Training
The next first aid course dates will be communicateed through our Face book page. All first aid courses will be run over over two evenings from 1900hrs to 2200hrs Dates TBC.

The course are aimed at individuals who have first aid responsabilities, and who would be able to take charge of first aid arrangements in the workplace or home enviroment. This course will provide the successful delegate with the competence to carry out his or her duties and a First Aid for the Appointed Person certificate valid for 3 years. The maximum number of delegates is 16.
